Three suspects arrested for kidnapping and armed robbery in Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested three suspects for alleged kidnapping and theft and recovered three single barrel weapons. 

 

Spokesperson of the command, DSP Suleiman Nguroje, who disclosed this in a press release on Sunday, March 21, in Yola, stated the suspects have been answerable for the kidnap of Engineer Elan Jobbo, a principal of VTC Jabbi Lamba, Alhaji Jauro Mamburso and Alkani Zumbe, all of Girei and Track Native authorities Space, round Could, 2020. 

 

The suspects; Usman Sale, 40, a resident of Muleng, Track LGA, Lawali Sale, 37, a resident of Bah Usman Village, Fufore LGA and Yerima Alhaji Dadi, 36, a resident of Bah Usman Village, Fufore LGA.

 

Nguroje stated the suspects have been apprehended at their numerous hideouts in Muleng and Chigari Villages of Track and Fufore Native authorities areas on Saturday, March 20, following credible info and intense search by the Police and Vigilantes of Track Division.

 

“Investigations to date revealed that the suspects do take part in armed theft/kidnappings actions throughout the Boader between Nigeria /Cameroon Republic.

 

“The Commissioner Police, CP Aliyu Adamu Alhaji, whereas commending Dpo Track and his males for making it tough for these criminals to flee arrest, equally directs additional investigations into the case to convey up extra Human and Materials evidences for correct prosecution.

 

Nguroje stated as a part of efforts at tackling felony actions and different associated offences, the CP working in live performance to deepen intelligence and strengthen safety within the State, deployed Speedy Reply crew (RRS) and Anti Kidnapping unit of the Command to go after the abductors of their hideouts in every single place inside the State.
