Hijab: Schools To Remain Shut, Says Kwara Govt

Kwara State authorities has introduced that the 10 colleges affected by the Hijab controversy in Ilorin will stay shut.

The State Authorities defined that the colleges shall be shut pending the result of consultations on using the Muslim headgear in colleges.

The federal government made this identified in a press release made obtainable to the Information Company of Nigeria (NAN) in Ilorin on Monday.

Within the assertion, the Secretary to the State Authorities, Mamman Jibril, urged members of the general public to stay calm and peaceable.
