Asset Sharing Agreement: Oyo Approves N8bn Payment To Osun On LAUTECH Ownership

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, has authorized the fee of the sum of N8 billion to Osun State Authorities as an asset sharing settlement on the possession of Ladoke Akintola College of Expertise (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso.

The approval adopted the ceding of the establishment to Oyo State authorities.

Oyo and Osun had last year agreed to share the property of the establishment, which was collectively owned by the 2 states.

Makinde on Tuesday authorized the fee of the sum of eight billion naira as elements of how to fulfil the settlement.

Commissioner for Training, Barrister Olasunkanmi Olaleye, made this growth kmown to newsmen.

He added that the fee could be paid in three installments unfold over a interval of three years.

The commissioner expressed that N1 billion will probably be paid in January and December whereas N3 billion will probably be paid in 2022 and 2023.

Olaleye spoke after the Government Council assembly held on Tuesday in Ibadan.
