Rapper Nicki Minaj’s mom, Carol Maraj, has filed a $150 million lawsuit towards the driving force who’s accused of killing her husband in a hit-and-run crash final month. 

The driving force, Charles Polevich, 70, is accused of putting Robert Maraj, 64, when he was crossing the road on Lengthy Island on Feb. 12 after which driving off with out calling 911. Maraj died at a hospital the following day.

Mr. Polevich was later arrested on February 17 on prices of leaving the scene of an incident and tampering with bodily proof. He pleaded not responsible and was freed on bail and ordered to not go away New York state.

Over the weekend,  a $150 million lawsuit was filed on behalf of Nicki’s mom, Carol Maraj, towards the driving force within the Supreme Courtroom of the State of New York by Ben Crump Legislation.

“After putting Maraj, (Charles) Polevich left the accident scene and didn’t name for emergency providers or render support to Maraj,” Crump wrote. “He was not solely irresponsible and negligent, however extra involved about working away and hiding than in search of assist.


“Polevich’s habits was legal, cowardly, and immoral. We are going to maintain him accountable for his reckless actions that led to Robert Maraj’s dying!”


Polevich’s legal professional, Marc C. Gann of Collins, Gann, McCloskey & Barry PLLC, shared a press release with USA TODAY on behalf of his shopper.
