The Kwara State Authorities has accepted using hijab in public faculties.

Mamma Sabah Jibril, Secretary to the State Authorities, introduced the choice in an announcement Thursday night time.

He expressed that the administration consulted broadly with Muslim and Christian communities with a view to clarifying points and reaching a consensus.

Recall that the federal government, final Friday, directed the temporary closure of 10 secondary schools in Ilorin, the state capital, pending the decision of the controversy on using hijab.

On the conferences held with authorities, leaders of the Christian and Muslim communities refused to shift floor.

Nonetheless, on Thursday, the federal government acknowledged that it has thought of submissions of all main curiosity teams, the training regulation of Kwara State, the prevailing courtroom judgments and present international developments of multiculturalism.

Consequently, the federal government thereby acknowledges and approves the correct of the Muslim schoolgirl to put on the hijab.
