How to Reverse Videos On Snapchat – Most people do not even know how to create a video on their mobile device without using the Snapchat app even on a phone that’s great at making videos. That’s how video-addictive Snapchat is.
Snapchat doesn’t just make your video look better, it brightens it up with various editing options or filters. One of these filters is used to play videos on reverse, how cool is that?
Snapchat Play in Reverse Videos – What it’s About?
When you open Snapchat to create a video, there are various filter and effects options to choose from. Each filter has its own unique effect on the video whether created already or in the process of creating.
Why isn’t the Snapchat Reverse Filter Not Working?
To use most of these filters and effects, your device has to be connected to the internet although that doesn’t apply to the reverse video filter. This filter will make any video it’s applied on play backward, this includes the sound of the video.
However, it only works with videos recorded on the Snapchat app. As such you can’t apply this feature to videos uploaded from your device’s media collection. Furthermore, the recorded video must be 10 seconds and below to be able to use this filter.
Using the Reverse Filter On Snapchat
The steps are almost similar for either an iPhone or Android;
⦁ Open the Snapchat app on your device.
⦁ The camera page comes up, record, or creates the video by holding down on the shutter button; The one at the center bottom of the camera screen.
⦁ After creating the video, it’s time to swipe. The best way to find the reverse video filter is to swipe to the left. You’d know you’ve gotten it when you come across a screen showing three arrows pointing to the left.
N.B; You have to swipe left 7-9 times to get the reverse filter screen on the video.
⦁ Apply the filter and save the video.
You can now send it to your friends, post it on other social media platforms or do with it what you do with your large library of Snapchat videos.
