The Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee (EFCC) has detained Ondo Meeting clerk, Bode Aladeyelu and two different civil servants.
That is coming after it was alleged that those that collected N2.4million which was launched to attend a two-day seminar organised by Nationwide Productiveness Centre, Lagos, by no means attended this system.
A workers of the meeting who spoke to The Nation, stated;
“It’s true. The clerk of the Home and Hon. Felemu Gudu Bankole together with two civil servants within the Meeting are there within the EFCC’s custody. They had been detained there.
“Based mostly on that invitation, all of them went there they usually had been detained final Thursday. I believe the EFCC will need to have commenced their investigation into their matter.”
Spokesman of the Meeting Gbenga Omole declined to touch upon the matter. He stated;
“I’m not answering any query, I’m going to handle the press tomorrow, (Monday).”
